          Francesca Salvemini, flutist

 

Born in Brindisi in 1975, began studying music at the "T.Schipa" State Conservatory of Lecce and got her diploma at the "G. Verdi" State Conservatory of Milan; then she is awarded with the "Prix de virtuosité" attending the training classes of vituosity with the famous french flutist Maxence Larrieu.
She attended masterclasses led by Larrieu, Guiot, Adorjan, Graf, Pahud, Cambursano, Ancillotti, and won 1st prize at various national and international flute competitions (Milan, Taranto, Neaples, Ovada,...).
She gives concerts like soloist for prestigious concert organization in Italy and abroad (Sala Verdi in Milan, Victoria Hall and Grande Salle du Conservatoire in Geneva, Kaizergracht Saal in Amsterdam, Konser Salonu in IstanbulTheather "Piccinni" in Bari, theater of Modena and "Politeama" ecc.),
and with : Orchestra Sinfonica di BariI Solisti Aquilani, l'Offerta Musicale di Venezia, Vox Aurae, Orchestra I Suoni del Sud, Orchestra di Stato di Mosca, Orchestra Filarmonica "Mihai Jora" di Bacau (Romania), Philarmonie di Opole (Polonia), Orchestra Sinfonica di Izmir e Delvet Senfoni Orkestrasi (Turchia),  l’Orquesta Sinfonica di Stato del Messico with conductor like E. Krivine, M. Corboz, K. Sanderling, G. Khun, O. Balan, B. Dawidow, E. Güvin Yasliçam.
She carried out an intense activity in chamber groups also with famous artists like M. Larrieu, S. Mildonian, C. Antonelli, A. Branch, J. Garcia Moreno, and specially duo with her mother, pianist, S. Libardo (more than 300 concert in Italy and abroad).
 

She has recorded with Bongiovanni-Bologna, VelutLuna-Padova, Acustica-Lecce.

She led Masterclasses in Italy and South America (Brasile, Argentina) and she is professor at Conservatorio “T. Schipa" di Lecce - Italy.
